Kirtan Chanting

Kirtan means “singing, chanting, and praising the Divine” and it is a sacred practice anyone can do—no special training is required.  Sanskrit mantras (sound representations of the Divine) are devotionally chanted .  Kirtan chanting is accompanied by ancient Indian musical tradition with a rhythmic drumming style that transports the chanters to profound spiritual realms.  The sound vibrations enter our consciousness, bringing deep inner peace.  In its heartfelt expression it compares to profound states of deep meditation.  Kirtan is accepted today as one of the surest paths to enlightenment.

Join our Kirtan chanting group on Lopez Island on Wednesday’s 7:30-8:30pm in the Treehouse which is above Isabel’s coffee shop.  For more information contact us.
